Wildcat

Where we've been and where we're going.

  • 2010

    Our Humble Beginnings

Shortly after the inaugural winter bivvy, Wildcat Gear came into being. First products were custom frame bags.

  • 2011

    Lion Harness Developed

Lion harness developed and launched to secure your dry bag to the front of the bike.

  • 2012

    Tiger Rear Harness Launches

The first saddle harness system was launched, adopting the convenient and secure attachment to match the Lion.

  • 2014

    Ocelot Frame Bag Released

Big Year - Ocelots came into being, to shorten the queue for frame bag orders. The Lioness front storage bag was developed to compliment the Lion - this was launched at Bespoked in London. We also developed a Fat Lion to hold large dry bags for arctic conditions. Last by not least, the Tom Cat - first to market with an easily accessible storage bag that mounted into the loop of the Jones bar. Highland Trail tested.

  • 2015

Bespoked - Best in Show award

Very proud to have won a 'Best in Show' award at the Bespoked Handbuilt Bike Show.

  • 2016

Light Weight Product Development - Cuben Fibre

Ever keen to push the boundaries, we produced and exhibited a full set of luggage weighing in at less than 300g.

  • 2019

    Wildcat v2.0 Reboot

After a quiet period where Beth and Ian let the business take a backseat to their young family, Wildcat is relaunched with key new partner Steven Shand (Shand Cycles) bringing a wealth of experience from the 'Adventure Cycling' industry. New product range is being developed through the Summer with a view to relaunch with new products and website in the second half of 2019.
